Want to help earthquake victims in Türkiye? Here’s how

 The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) are accepting donations for relief work for victims of the earthquake in Türkiye.


You can wire cash to bank accounts opened by two charities spearheading relief efforts, from accommodation of survivors to search and rescue, food aid and other immediate humanitarian assistance.

ECOMARE: Protecting marine biodiversity and providing care to injured animals

 There are two ECOMARE centres -The CPRAM hospital is open 24 hours a day, all year round and there is the CEPAM research centre, promoted by the University of Aveiro, which is open to the public on the third Wednesday of each month. In the Aveiro estuary in Portugal, biodiversity and conservation are at the heart of the ECOMARE project. Scientists and researchers working on this European initiative, promoted by the University of Aveiro, are investigating the impact of climate change on marine flora and fauna and are also taking care of injured animals. "There are two priorities: One - sustainability and two - the rehabilitation and conservation of marine life. Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia  - Gempa kembali mengguncang wilayah Turki Selatan pada Senin, (6/2/2023) siang waktu setempat. Dalam laporan USGS, Gempa susulan ini berkekuatan M 7,5.
